Instructions: 

 

1. The round braid starts off the same as the square braid but this time you are going to braid between the strands instead of on top of them. The first few braids are tricky, dont be discouraged.

 

2. After competing one box braid See Box Braid, Steps #2 through #6 (Fig A).

 

3. Take strand #2 and fold it diagonally between strands #1 and #4 (Fig B).

 

4. Next fold strand #4 diagonally between strands #1 and #3 (Fig C & D).

 

5. Fold strand #1 diagonally between strand #3 and the loop created by strand #2 (Fig E).

 

6. Fold strand #3 over strand #1 and through loop created by strand #2

 

7. Now pull on strands #1 and #2 together, then pull strands #3 and #4 together (Fig F).

 

8. Continue steps #1 through #5 until you have reached the length you want.
