Materials:
20”- Icy Silver 18 gauge (thick wire)
35” - Icy Silver 24 gauge (thin wire)
25 - Green beads
Instructions:
1. Using the flat nose pliers, take 20” of thick wire and begin shaping one end of the wire into a star. To do this, make an even 5-point zigzag and pull it around to shape the star. Use the pliers to straighten out the points.
2. At the base of the star start the zigzag of the tree from left to right gradually making the tree wider as you get to the base. There should be 3 points on the right side of the tree and 4 on the left side of the tree. Use the flat nose pliers and shape base of tree.
3. Take 35” of thin wire and wrap one end of wire around the base of the tree. Wrap remaining wire with a green bead randomly spaced around the tree frame, keeping each bead about ½” apart.
4. When you get to the last bead at the top of the star, wrap the thin wire around the bead to create a silver frame. Wrap the wire around the star several times to anchor the wire and beads. Loop the wire around the top of the star once. Pull the wire straight up and attach 1 bead to the end of the wire and twist into a small spiral. This is the hanger for the ornament.
