Foam weave wheel vs card boardMay 18, 2010
By K. Reddie The foam weave wheels are the way to go. These are much preferred over the card board version offered in some of the chain craft stores.. I use the foam disks with embroidery floss or pearl cotton for neck cords and bracelets in jewelry making. I keep track of where I am by leaving not completing the upstroke of any pair. TR

kumihimo wheelsMay 10, 2011
By kumi_crafter These economical weave wheels are perfect for kumihimo braiding. I like these better than the more expensive Japan-made ones. Cheaper and more portable, easy to take along when traveling.
instructions nonintuituveApr 08, 2011
By D. Taylor I bought the wheel and lace safari collection( two, actually, one as a birhtday present, one for my daughter) from a craft store. The instructions were difficult to understand and did not create a lanyard. The picture did not match the instructiions... instuctions said to use 4 pieces of craftlace, and the picture showed 8 pieces being used. The instructions then said to move two pieces of the lace, annd turn the wheel, then repeat using a different set of numbers. This is totally non-intuitive -- and I am a pretty good crafter. I am left to finding instructions online. Should have bought the EZ Gimper.
