CHINESE STAIRCASE
Instructions:
1. Tie an overhand knot at one end of three strands of CraftLaceTM (the color combination is up to you). Secure the knotted end to a fixed position.
NOTE: If you want a fatter braid use more core strands. Reminder, you will need a longer length of the working strand.
2. Select two of the strands for the core. The third strand will be the working strand (Fig. A). Make a loop with the working strand and place BEHIND the core strands and back around and across the FRONT of the core strands then through the loop made by the working strand (Fig. A). Pull tightly up around the core strands.
3. Make another loop repeating step 1 (Fig. B). Continue in this manner until you have completed the length you want. Tie off end with an overhand knot.
