PLAID PATTERN BANGLE Bracelet

MATERIALS

Plastic canvas (size= approx 1”W x 7”L)

2 strands of Craft Lace 18” long each (color #1) 

2 strands of Craft Lace 18” long each (color #2) 

2 strands of Craft Lace 24” long each (color #3) 

2 strands of Craft Lace 24” long each (color #4) 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Work on plastic canvas lengthwise first-

Knot 1 piece of Craft Lace onto the end of the canvas. Weave in and out of canvas until you reach the opposite end. Alternate between color #1 and color #2. Repeat until canvas is covered lengthwise.

1. Width: take 1 24” strand of Craft Lace and weave it in and out of canvas width-wise (up and down) across the canvas, crossing over and under the lacing from step #1. Alternate color #3 and color #4 for this step. Continue weaving until you reach your desired color pattern. Wrap excess length around edges of the bracelet.
2. Take excess lacing from step #1 and knot together so that the canvas forms a bangle bracelet (circle).
3. Curly finish: To curl up ends of lacing, take a pencil and wrap ends of lace around it. Under parental supervision, place curled up ends into boiling water for 20 seconds then put into cold water for 20 seconds to cool. Unwrap ends and separate.
