Basic Set Up Instructions
 
A. Choose two colors of CraftlaceTM
 
B. Cut (2) 24" strands of each color. You will have a total of (4) strands.
 
C. Slide all strands through the large opening of a lanyard hook.
 
D. Bring all strands over to the base of the hook (small opening) and then bring the lanyard hook to the middle of all strands.
 
E. Tie a basic knot at the base (small opening) of the lanyard hook.
 
F. With knot end first, take the lanyard hook and put it through the hole in the middle of the Lanyard Maker. Make sure the numbers are facing you.
 
                        You are now ready to begin making Lanyards!

Weave Wheel Flat Braid 
 
1. Set up Lanyard Maker using the Basic Set Up Instructions.
2. Hold Lanyard Maker with dot #32 on top. Make sure to keep tension on the lanyard to secure project.
 
Step A:
1. Move CraftlaceTM between 31&32 and insert between 9&10.
2. Move CraftlaceTM between 32&1 and insert between 22&23.
3. Move CraftlaceTM between 16&17 and insert between 6&7.
4. Move CraftlaceTM between 15&16 and insert between 25&26.
 
Step B:
1. Move CraftlaceTM between 7&8 and insert between 15&16.
2. Move CraftlaceTM between 24&25 and insert between 16&17.
3. Move CraftlaceTM between 8&9 and insert between 32&1.
4. Move CraftlaceTM between 23&24 and insert between 31&32.
 
Step C:
1. Move CraftlaceTM between 6&7 and insert between 7&8.
2. Move CraftlaceTM between 9&10 and insert between 8&9.
3. Move CraftlaceTM between 25&26 and insert between 24&25.
3. Move CraftlaceTM between 22&23 and insert between 23&24.
 
Repeat Step A, Step B and Step C until desired length is reached.
 
 
Diamond Braid Glasses Band
 
Materials Needed:
Diamond Braid Instructional Video
2 yards each of pink and purple CraftlaceTM
Yarn Needle
Scissors
 
1. Fold each length of lacing in half, with the ends even. Knot one length 1/2" from the fold and anchor securely. Loop the fold of the other length around the first and diamond braid, following the Diamond Braid Instructional Video.
 
2. When the desired length has been reached, fold the tail of one strand back, forming a loop. Knot the loop around the other tails, close to the braid, and pull up until the loop measures 1/2". Thread the tail of the loop onto a yarn needle, weave back through the braid for 2", and cut off. Trim the other tails to 1/2". To use: Slip each end loop over an earpiece.
 
 
 
Butterfly
 
Materials:
24 Gauge Fun WireTM any three colors
 
Instructions:
 
1. Twist two colors of wire together, then loop back and forth into two figure eights for wings. Set aside.
 
2. Use third wire color and from into body shape. Form and attach antenna to top of head. Wrap more wire tightly around head and body.
 
3.Use more wire in one of the wing colors to attach the wings to body, wrapping several times around the secure. Clip ends close to wire.
 
 
Bracelet
 
Materials:
24 or 22 Gauge Fun WireTM any color
Beads: any color large seed beads, rocailles and E beads recommended
 
Instructions:
 
1. Start with two or more stands large enough to fit wrist, plus 3 1/2", and one strand 4 1/2" larger than wrist. Twist approximately 1 1/2" of the ends together, leaving the longer strand extended 1". Roll around a pencil to form a loop.
 
2. Wrap the long strand tightly around the base of the loop to cover the other loose ends. Clip end close to coil.
 
3. Slide beads onto the strands and loosely twist them together, to about 2" from ends.
 
4. Twist the ends wires tightly togher for 1 1/4".
 
5. Fold tightly at center of tightly twisted wire.
 
6. Bend to form a hook. Wrap one of the remaining wire ends tightly around all at base of hook. Clip wire close to coil.
 
 
Beaded Votives
 
Materials:
Double stick glass and mirror tape such as that manufactured by 3M with red liner
24 Gauge Fun WireTM of your choice
Beads of your choice
 
Instructions:
 
1. Apply double stick tape to votive by wrapping around at top or center, as instructed. Leave liner intact, peeling it away as you work, to keep the adhesive tacky, and press beads and wire firmly to the tape as you wrap rows from top to bottom.
 
2. Begin wire by making a 1/4" right angle bend in the end and pressing it firmly onto the tape.
 
3. End wire by trimming to 1/4" and tucking the end under previous rows.
 
4. All beads are threaded onto 22 or 24 gauge wire. Keep beads and rows close together.
 
 
Corkscrew Bracelet
 
Materials:
24 Gauge Fun WireTM in colors of your choice
Beads, color and size of your choice
 
Instructions:
 
1. Use a doubled wire 2" longer than wrist circumference for bracelet base. Twist a loop around a pencil onto one end.
 
2. Twist lengths of wire in a second color into corkscrews.
 
3. Slide corkscrews onto double lengths of wire the same color as the bracelet base. Twist the corkscrew assembles around the skewer or twisting tool.
 
4. Slide a corkscrew bead onto bracelet, then slide beads on in an arrangement you like, and slide another corkscrew bead onto bracelet.
 
5. Bend a small hook into remaining end of bracelet.
 
 
Wrap Bracelet
 
Materials:
24 Gauge Fun WireTM, any color
E-beads in several colors
 
Instructions:
 
1. Use a doubled wire 2" longer than wrist circumference for bracelet base. Twist a loop around a pencil into one end.
 
2. Slide beads onto bracelet and fill entire length, leaving 1" at end of bracelet.
 
3. Attach an additional length of wire to the bracelet near one end, and wrap tightly around the bracelet in regular intervals, leaving areas of exposed beads.
 
 
Votive With Bow
 
Materials:
24 Gauge Fun WireTM in two or three colors
 
Instructions:
 
1. Wrap and twist wire around votice several times and secure. Corkscrew ends of several lengths of wire and pull gently to open up curls. Bend together at center and attach to wire on votive. Bend several lengths of wire together into a figure eight and attach to votive.
 
 
 
Animal
 
Chocker:
3 1/2 yards black hemp
3 1/2 yards natural hemp
Animal print Bead
2 black 5mm pony beads
Closure bead
 
1. Fold the cords in half and make a closure loop. Use the black cords as tying cords and tie 4" of half twists.
 
2. Bring the natural cords to become the tying cords. Tie 7 square knots. Add a black bead onto the filler cords. Tie 7 square knots. Slide the animal print bead onto the filler cords. Repeat the design from the other side and add a closure bead.
 
Bracelet:
2 yards black hemp
2 yards natural hemp
1 black 5mm pony bead
Closure bead
 
1. Fold the cords in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 2" of half twists using the black cords as the tying cords. Switch and use the natural cords as the tying cords and tie 1" of square knots. Slide the black bead onto the filler cords.
 
3. Repeat the knots from the other side of the bead and add a closure bead.
 
 
Butterfly
 
Chocker:
4 1/2 yards natural hemp
2 yards pink hemp
Butterfly bead
6 silver 6mm beads
1 white closure beads
 
1. Fold each piece of hemp in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 3" of half twists with the pink cords as the fillers. Slide silver bead onto the fillers. Tie 1" of half twists. Slide on another silver bead. Tie 1" of half twists. Slide on another silver bead.
 
3. Bring the pink filler cords out to the outside to use as tying cords. Tie 4 square knots. Slide the butterfly bead onto the 2 natural filler cords. Tie 4 more square knots with the pink cords. Switch the cords and bring the natural cords back to being the tying cords. Repeat the same half twist designs from the other side.
 
4. Add a closure bead at the end.
 
Bracelet:
5 yards of natural hemp
2 silver 6mm beads
1 white closure bead
 
1. Cut 2 pieces of hemp, each 2 1/2 yards long. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 2" of half twists. Tie 3 square knots, slide a bead on and tie 3 more square knots. Add 1 more bead and tie 3 square knots.
 
3. Tie 3" of half twists and add the closure bead.
 
 
 
Dolphin
 
Choker:
6 1/2 yards natural hemp
Dolphin bead
6 light blue beads
6 blue beads
Closure bead
 
1. Cut the hemp into a 4 1/2 yard and 2 yard piece. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 5 1/2" of half twists. Slide a light blue bead onto 1 tying cord and a blue one onto the other. Tie 6 half twist knots. The beads will lay on the outside edges of the choker. Add light blue and blue beads to the tying cords again, except alternate the color from the one on that side you added before. Tie 6 more half twists. Add 2 more beads onto the tying cords, alternating the colors again. Tie 6 more half twists.
 
3. Add the dophin bead to the filler cords. Repeat the designs from the other side. Add a closure bead.
 
Bracelet:
3 1/2 yard natural hemp
5 light blue beads
5 blue beads
Closure bead
 
1. Cut the hemp into a 2 1/2 yard and a 1 yard piece. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 2 1/2" of half twists. Add a blue bead onto one tying cord and a light blue bead onto the other tying cord. Tie 6 half twists. Continue adding beads onto the tying cords with 6 half twists between. Be sure to alternate the color of beads on each side as you go.
 
3. Tie 2 1/2" of half twists and add a closure bead.
 
 
 
Moon & Stars
 
Choker:
6 1/2 yards natural hemp
Moon bead
2 white frosted square beads
2 blue frosted square beads
Closure bead
 
1. Cut a 4 1/2 yard and a 2 yard peice of hemp. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 4" of half twists. Slide a blue bead onto the filler cords. Tie 1" of half twists. Slide on a white bead. Tie 1" of half twists. Slide the moon and stars bead onto the filler cords.
 
3. Repeat the knots from the other side on add a closure bead.
 
Bracelet:
5 yards of natural hemp
2 white frosted square beads
1 blue frosted square bead
Closure bead
 
1. Cut hemp in to two 2 1/2 yard pieces. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 1 1/2" of half twists. Add a white bead. Tie 1 1/2" half twists. Add a blue bead. Tie 1 1/2" half twists and add a white bead. Tie 1 1/2" half twists and add the closure bead.
 
 
 
Ceramic Flower
 
Choker:
6 yards natural hemp
Flower bead
4 silver 6mm beads
Closure bead
 
1. Cut a 4 yard and a 2 yard piece of hemp. Fold them in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 4 1/2" of square knots. Slide a silver bead onto the filler cords. Tie 1 square knot. Slide on another silver bead. Tie a square knot. Slide the flower bead onto the filler cords. Tie a square knot. Repeat the design from the other side.
 
3. Add a closure bead
 
Bracelet:

Chocker:
3 1/2 yards purple hemp

1. Fold the hemp cords in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Begin using the natural cords as the tying cords and tie 2" of square knots.
 
3. Bring the purple cords to the outside to use as tying cords. Tie 2" of half twists.
 
4. Bring the natural crods out as tying cords again and tie 2" of square knots.
 
5. Slide a purple bead onto the filler cords and tie 4 square knots. Slide the figh bead onto the filler cords. Tie 4 square knots and repeat the design from the other side. Add a closure bead.
 
Bracelet:
2 yards purple hemp
2 yards natural hemp
Turquoise pony bead
2 purple pony beads
Closure bead
 
1. Fold the hemp in half and make a closure loop.
 
2. Tie 2 1/2" of half twists using the purple cords as the tying cords. Bring the natural cords out to be the tying cords and tie 4 square knots. Slide a purple bead onto the filler cords and tie a square knot. Slide the turquoise bead on and tie a square knot. Slide on the purple bead and tie 4 square knots.
 
3. Tie 2 1/2" of half twists using the purple cords as filler cords. Add a closure bead.

Instructions for Gingerbread Girl:
 
Head: Cut a 6" piece of brown wire. Put 18 brown beads on wire. Bring both ends together and twist to secure. Form into a circle for head. Cut off excess wire.
 
Dress: Cut an 8" piece of red wire and attach between first and second brown beads on head where you twisted them together. Place 23 red beads on wire. Attach other end of wire between the 17th and 18th brown bead. Shape your dress.
 
Arms: Cut two 4" pieces of brown wire. Attach one wire  before first red bead, string 8 brown beads, then attach other side between 3rd and 4th red bead. Attach other wire after the 23rd red bead. String 8 brown beadds and attach other end between 20th and 21st red bead.
 
Legs: Cut two 4" pieces of brown wire. Attach one wire between 8th and 9th red bead on dress. String on 9 brown beads. Attach other side between 11th and 12th red bead on dress. Attach other wire between 12th and 13th red bead, string on 9 brown beads and attach other end between 15th and 16th red bead on dress.
 
White Borders: Cut an 18" piece of white wire. Use a tiny paint brush handle or unbead a paper clip as straight as you can. Wrap 18" piece of wire around paperclip to make coils. Pull wire off of item and lightly pull coils apart for cutting. You will need a 3 1/2" lenght for the head. Attach between 2nd and 3rd brown bead. Attach other side between 16th and 17th brown bead. Cut four 3/4" lenghts for the arms and legs. Attaching to arms: count from head out, attach between 3rd and 4th brown bead and attach other side between the 6th and 7th brown bead. Attaching to legs: attach between 3rd and 4th bead from outside of leg and attach other side between 7th and 8th brown beads.
 
Bow: Cut a 6" piece of red wire, fold in half and twist to attach to head. Put three "E" beads on each side of bow. Make two circles with wire making sure you leave about 3/4" of wire extending from both ends. Take both circles and twist them together to secure.
 
Bottom of Dress: Cut a 3" piece of red wire, string eight "E" beads on wire and gently coil wire around the end of a small paint brush. Secure both ends to bottom of dress for trim.
 
Hook: Cut a 12" piece of brown wire. Attach one end of wire to head betwwn 9th and 10th brown bead. Bring other end down extending it about 1". Take that inch and wrap it tightly around bottom of hook Twist wire and form into a hook.

Head: Same as Girl
 
Shirt: Cut a 6" piece of brown wire. Attach one end between 1st and 2nd bead on head and slide on 5 brown beads, 6 green beads, 5 brown beads. Attach end between 18th and 17th brown bead. Shape into a shirt.
 
Pants: Cut a 6" and a 4" piece of green wire. Attach 6" piece of wire between 5th brown bead and 6th green bead on shirt. Place 4 green beads on wire, now fold to the right, place 3 green beeads, fold up to shirt, 4 green beads. Attach wire b etween 8th and 9th green beads on shirt. Attach the 4" green wire between 11th green bead and 12th brown bead on shirt. Place 4 green beads on wire, fold to left, place 3 green beads on wire, attach between 7th and 8th green bead on shorts.
 
Arms: Same as Girl
 
Legs: Same as Girl
 
Bow: Cut a 4" piece of green wire. String 12 "E" beads on wire. Make a figure eight, keeping 6 "E" beads in each looop. Attach bow with excess wire to neck.
 
Belt: Cut an 8" piece of green wire. Attach one end to top of short. Place 12 "E" beadsd on green wire. Wrap wire around top of shorts, over each green bead while making sure the "E" beads stay in front. Attach end to shorts to secure.
 
White Borders: Same as Girl

Sliding Snowmen
 
Materials:
24"- 22 Gauge Candy Apple Fun WireTM
24"- 22 Gauge Electra Blue Fun WireTM
1- 34mm Wavy Disc
1- 14mm Round Frosted Bead
1- 16mm Frosted Ring
12- 4mm Faceted Black Beads
1- 16mm Round Frosted Bead
1- 6mm Round Frosted Bead
1- Black Pony Bead
12- 4mm Faceted Clear Bead
 
Instructions:
 
1. Cut a 12" piece of Electra Blue wire and make a tight loop on one end. Slide on wavy disck with wavy edges facing down next to loop. Slide on one large frosted bead, one medium frosted bead, one frosted ring, one black pony bead and one small frosted bead.
 
2. Bend remaining wire in half slightly off center and twist wire together. Wrap ends tightly around itself jut above the small frosted bead.
 
3. Form the twisted wire into a spiral hanger.
 
4. Cut two 4" pieces of Electra Blue, fold both pieces i half. Wrap one piece between disk and large frosted bead. Place six fmall black faceted beads on each piece of wire and make a tight loop on ends to secure beads. These are the legs.
 
5. Take the other folded 4" piece of Electra Blue and wrap between large and medium frosted round beads. Place six small clear faceted beads on each piece of wire and make a tight loop on ends to secure beads. These are the arms.
 
6. Use a permanent marker to make the face.
 
7. To make red snowman follow above directions, but use the Candy Apple Red Fun WireTM.
